Spring...88 days away!

Fixed this up last Spring with a whiskey barrel from  Lowe's
As of today, the first official day of Spring for 2013 is 88 days away...March 20th! I love Spring! I guess it's because I love flowers so much. Anything that has a flower on it, I love it! Planting flowers and gardening I guess just comes natural to me living on a farm...it makes me happy and makes me feel useful. And too, I just love being outside in general. If it's not raining or if it's not cold I like being outside doing something, no matter what time of year it is. We are reminded of God's blessings everyday, every hour, every minute but gardening and planting flowers just makes me want to rejoice in Him even more. He has given us so many beautiful treasures on this Earth to enjoy! How can someone be negative when there is so much beauty surrounding us. EVERYTHING God has put on this Earth is BEAUTIFUL!

The "H" and the "A"

My opinion of how a relationship should be tends to be a shy bit different from others. In the beginning of a relationship everyone is all about leaning on the other one, depending on them for everything "the A" and then one day they wake up and find that the relationship is not working out. Both male and female are torn  because they had depended on each other so much in the beginning, they didn't give the relationship time to ferment...they rushed the gun. A relationship needs to be like an "H", each party needs to be able to stand firm on their own two feet and join hands before leaning on the other. As time goes on the tops of the "H" will start to merge together and form an "A"...yes I know, this all sounds silly, comparing a relationship to letters in the alphabet but seriously try to picture it in your mind. With the "H" each individual is strong, steadfast...they are able to stand on their own two feet without having to lean on the other for support, whether that be emotionally, financially, physically, the list goes on and on. As the 2 parties start to form a true love for one another, as they start to form a life together, they start making the "A"...I hope and pray that one day I will make it to the 'H" point, then eventually to the "A" point with a man, but right now I'm still working on the "I"...and that's alright by me!

A Time For Everything

Happy New Year 2013...may everyone be blessed with happiness, good health, love, wisdom, and strength. It's always good to be reminded that God does everything in His own time. Often times we get inpatient and want everything NOW...but God has a bigger and brighter plan for us. In 2013, I pray that we all find patience with ourselves, time, and The Good Lord. And remember to give thanks because He, The Almighty One has given us many blessings in this life. What He giveth, He can also taketh (Job 1:21).

Intro...

I was born wild and free, country is what I'll forever be.

This is my first blog, so bear with me. I'm wanting to get my photography business going so I thought this would be a good way to start. On that note, they're a work in progress, it will be a little bit before I post the ones I have worked on. My name is Caroline Furr, I am a nursing student at Stanly Community College and work as a tech in the ER at Stanly Regional. But first and foremost, I'm a God-fearing, farm girl. I love the crisp air, vibrant colors, privacy, and sense of comfort the country has to offer. Living on a farm is a definite way of life that I hope to continue as I move on to other pastures. I couldn't have had a better raising, I love my parents, grandparents, and brothers dearly and thank them for all they've done for me.
